About us

We started out as an analytics provider to law firms. In speaking with them, it became clear that there was a gap between what they wanted to do and their ability to do it.

Legal recruitment is broken, so we set out to fix it with data and a better approach, so that both law firms and candidates are more successful.

Fraud alert

Recruitment scams are increasingly common. Fraudsters impersonate legitimate recruiters and ask for payment in exchange for job opportunities, sometimes using domain names, email addresses, names and logos that look like ours.

Please make sure a message comes from a genuine Amicus Strategies recruiter before you respond.

Amicus Strategies will never

  • Ask you for any payment to use our services or to receive a job offer. Our services are free for candidates.
  • Ask you to interview over Telegram, WhatsApp or similar messaging apps.
  • Ask you to send bank details or other sensitive personal or financial information by text message.
  • Run websites or apps that ask you to invest, buy products or pay money in order to earn commission.
  • Offer payment for engaging with social media, such as liking videos or posts.
  • Email you from encrypted services such as Proton Mail, or from any address that does not end in @amicusstrategies.com.

How to protect yourself

  • Check the address of every email that claims to come from us. Genuine emails come only from @amicusstrategies.com.
  • Be careful with links and attachments from people you don’t know, and with unexpected ones from people you do. If in doubt, check with the sender another way.
  • Never send money to anyone claiming to be from Amicus Strategies in connection with a job.
  • Never pay to receive a salary, wages or commission-earning investments, whether directly or through an app.
  • Look out for spelling and grammatical errors in messages and in domain names.
  • Only download apps from trusted sources such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.

If you receive a suspicious message from someone claiming to represent Amicus Strategies, verify their identity before you respond: contact us and we will confirm whether they work for us. For more on job scams, see the guidance from the US Federal Trade Commission and the UK’s Action Fraud.
